I would like to see Guns of Icarus tournament at one of the local college gaming tournaments. Sadly I don't think there are enough of us in one area to field enough fully crewed ships to make this viable.
So I had an idea. If we could get enough decent captains together at one of these events they could pickup and train crews from the random people at this event. If everyone had 1/2 an hour to train and drill completely newbie crews before throwing them into a tournament under the hands of an experienced captain we might get some very interesting footage. Also it would spread the love of Guns of Icarus to new players which is always a plus.

I feel like a PAX East Guns Tournament needs to happen. A good portion of MM will be there and I remember a bunch of other people saying they were also going.

if they pay for the trip then im fine with it. ill be a pirate and steal their luxury room.

Jokes aside, maybe if the organizer were to offer a prize, trolling could be seriously cut.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of college students will do anything for the chance at free stuff.
This is a great idea, might see if there's any interest around my college for something like this.

You could count on me to be there if that were the case. I'd take time out from work and whip those college kids into shape :P

If they can arrange some entrance cards, travelcosts and a place to sleep. I would definitly come.
