Hello, I'd like to inform you that the http://www.twitch.tv/ site doesn't work at all for Linux users via Firefox, either with HTML5 or the current version of Flash 11.2.202.327, is there any more Linux friendly site that could be used?
By doesn't work I mean that even the current version of Flash still results in TwitchTV telling us to install Flash... The reason for this is that Adobe abandoned Linux some years ago hence all the problems with Adobe AIR games that have been ported to Linux.
I have contacted TwitchTV about this as well.

twitch.tv is working fine for me on Ubuntu 12.10 in both firefox and chrome. Check that 'Shockwave Flash' is listed as a plugin in firefox under about:plugins (http://about:plugins) and check that a flash version is displayed when you go to the page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/). And make sure you have the flashplugin-installer package installed via the 'Software Centre' or apt-get.

From my experience only chrome's bundled pepper flash plugin crashes on twitch. If you use the solution in the link (install adobe flash and disable pepper flash) it works.

The real issue is that adobe's flash on linux is borderline obsolete and probably insecure as they've dropped support for it. I would much prefer holding fireside chats on something like IRC.
