That muse is so infatuated with the air, that the regular sea boats float in the air?

brought to my attention via a certain rear admiral who shall remain nameless...

I thought this only occurred when you fell through the ocean- it's technically on the surface of the water, I think, but there's an underlying terrain map and skyboxes etc techy stuffs blah blah blah....

Yeah, I'd bet my hat it's that too. Kinda like when you accidentally get lounged inside of an object in any game *cough* frigging source *cough*. You just don't see the ocean surface from inside.

At least in Source you can solve it easily by going
sv_cheats 1
noclip 1

We are of course talking about the honored Rear Admiral Feferi (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=71567), yes?

Shink is mistaken. He was told about it by UpperAdmiralZill :D

and thank god for that, without no-clip g-mod and general source-f*ck-around would be nearly impossible

Yup. It also works for getting out of spots you've glitched into by accident.
Like when my sister landed the hoverboat in HL2 in some twisted metal wreckage thing and got stuck. Except I decided to not be nice and use the Kill command instead :D

Now why didn't I think of that when I spent all that time carrying gnome chompski to the rocket -.-

I didn't even bother going for that one.
Did you jam the gnome in the car, or did you do the "launch, drive, launch, drive" way?

Car Jam, almost lost it a few times, Why didn't get it for pc I may never know, then again it was a present from my sister.

I frigging carried him all the way through the caverns, dropping him at every enemy and having to go back and pick him up each time I'd left him after being chased by that damn Guardian(s?). By the time I finally got back to the rebel hideout I was soo damn sick of him that I left him... .... ... almost back at the frigging place I picked him up in the first place -.-
I'd never felt so free as to when I got outside, without that damnation. Oh yes! That was freedom :)
-
I got him to the rocket, then missed the door with the gnome. Most terrifying two seconds of life as all the damn work (dropping him to fight, chases after enemies accidentally punt him with explosives or kicks).
So worth it though.
