Burst is the best for gat it adds AOE. incendiary is best for mortar cuz fire is OP. The heavy clip makes the artemis bullet go faster. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEARN THE MOST BASIC OF BASICS OF THE GAME YOU CODKIDDIES.
Seriously there should be a MANDATORY 5 hour training for new players so they dont constantly troll your ship with shit like this.

I think this is the first time I ragequit the game because my level 1-2 crew said i didn't know what i was talking about when i said bring heavy for gat and lesmok for mortar and then argued all game about it with me. with burst gat shots and incendiary mortars. not hitting a GD thing.

I ditched one last night. Guy was vocal and communicated but then he used lochnagar in the gat as a joke. Broke the gun and lost the kill. The ship went on to kill two others and cost the match. I was just...seriously...

Had a guy rage quite my game because he thought my loadout on my Junker was crap. Gat/flak on the side, merc in the front. The gunner insisted on being on the top with the mortars, and the gat wasn't hardly firing at all. We were getting no kills. He finally went where I told him, to the gats, and an engi took the mortars, and we quickly got a kill.
Then he told me how my ship was all messed up, the junker was intended and best at long range and nothing else, and quit.
Where do people get this shit?

Took my double gat squid out in a 2v2. I had a powder monkey with me but two very competent engineers. I told the entire crew to bring heavy clip. The powder monkey does not bring or does not load heavy clip and also brings a buff hammer? I don't go off on him the first round because he is new and every one gets a chance to learn. I let him know via voice and text chat the equipment I expect him to bring.
Second match I am noticing he bullet spray is still very wide and he is buffing his own gun. I tell him that the engineer who listened to me is hitting more consistently and that his poor judgment is letting down the entire team. I verbally order him off the front gun and tell him to get to the side gun. He doesn't respond. I park in a hidden corner of the map and text him the same message. He said he muted voice chat and still doesn't hand over his gun.
After we loose I black list his name and leave the lobby. The two other engineers on my ship join me.
May people like him know only defeat and failure.

This is why I bring Tar and a Ram. Don't want to use my weapons right? Fine, I'll use my ship as a weapon.

Yeah, bring tar when you suspect a lowbie bad crew. Then you can tar your own ship till they leave. Usually they go wtf this captain is crazy and then get replaced with beautiful AI who make them look even worse.
Or you can midmatch, go back to role, load up tar then come back in and tar them off.

I had two good engineers from my friends list who were doing a fantastic job before the powder monkey showed up. I wasn't pissed at him for being level 1, I was pissed at him for repeatedly failing to follow instructions. He sounded like a native English speaker over the age of 10, so the only reasoning I have for his performance is obstinance or stupidity.

Can you please explain to me what's "so wrong" about not treating you special because your team placed well in a tournament that has absolutely no affiliation with Cogs? Sounds like basic logic to me.

Because the skype and steam discussions said a MINIMUM of 3 teams would be in the round robin. And now they say oh we never said that. Sorry but I'm sick of the childish lying from this games tournament organizers.

They said a minimum of three because it would have been more if some of last season's quarter finalists had dropped out, which didn't happen.

And a minimum of three teams are in the newcomer's round robin... nothing about that is incorrect.

Maybe i'm just a little pissed because i think new teams deserve alot more of a shot than what they are given. Falconeers, valiant, ZFG, etc etc deserve as much of a chance as anyone else. and i was told we would get it. instead we are getting reamed.

But three new teams are being given a shot in the very first week (hell, before the official first week--week 0). If you're upset that you missed the newcomers signups in time to participate in week 0, I'm sorry but it would be totally unfair to push all the other new teams back a week just to allow for Falconeers, regardless of how well you did in week 1. If you post in the newcomers signups thread now, you should still be able to get into week 1, which is only a one week difference... I don't understand the huge deal about why you absolutely needed to be in week 0. New teams get chances every single week.

Im saying we were told every new team would get a shot. and that is obviously not happeneing. Like i said im not pissed for myself I know falco will get into cogs eventually. I'm pissed because we were all fed horseshit.

Every new team does get a shot, not all of them in week 0... that wouldn't make any sense and that's never how Cogs worked. I can't speak to what anyone told you in Steam or Skype chat obviously because I wasn't there, but no one here has ever posted anything about every single new team participating in the week 0 round robin. It was always a minimum of three, maximum of six. Since none of the season 1 seeds dropped out, it ended up being three.

It is my fault for believing what i was told over what was actually public posted. I am just sick of it because certain people do it alot. and its getting passed off as "miscomms" alot. I'm sorry but that is alot of miscomms, even the military doesn't fuck it up this much.

Ofi, I had been talking about this with you for over a week now trying to get you to sign up and you refusing to sign up. The thing though is there is still an opening for the first official week of cogs. If you miss that one, then you can get in the second week. The season isn't full. Read the rules for yourself and don't rely on a non forum communication. If you had posted something in the newcomer sign up, anything, expressing interest in being in the cogs I might be sympathetic. However, you have done nothing other than express disdain for the cogs privately and nothing publicly.
Ofiach, you know you are my bro and I say this in love and all that other poli sci crap, but cool down. The Falconeers aren't being treated like any other group. That is why they still are able to play in the first week of cogs.

Yeah I do apologize for how I presented my issue but not for presenting it. I can go into pitbull mode sometimes and lose sight of what I'm actually trying to say because I'm pissed.
Oh well 4 weeks in Italy will be a good break and I can get everything rebooted when I come back.
