Title: Filters/dropdowns for creating games
Post by: Jazzza on February 27, 2013, 06:22:42 am
When creating a game, you have simple next/previous buttons to select a map and gamemode. Can we please have menus for this?

Eg:
- Map
- Gamemode
- Ship Limit/Player Limit/3v3/2v2

It was low on my list of things I'd like to see done, it's why I didn't comment.  Would ergonomic fit as the word that needs to be applied to some map selection changes?  Not sure...  Think there's a simple word to sum up all the little issues that have to do with the interface at times.
But it's still easy enough to navigate.

But it's still easy enough to navigate.

It may be fine to navigate, but it could be much better.

Imagine where our societies would be if we prevented innovation by saying "don't fix what isn't broken".

There has to be a word for this.  You see it pop up all the time in gaming when a dev or player defends not improving or fixing something and it gets incredibly annoying.  I don't care if you can adjust to it, bringing up your inventory by triple clicking the middle mouse button while hovering the mouse over your character is terrible and whoever thought that up should feel terrible about it.
