Right! It's that time again. Want to get in on the action of The Cogs? Here's your chance. Team signups are now open for non-seeded teams to snatch a spot on The Cogs.
...Snatch a spot... That sounds weird... Heh...
Either way, you know the drill by now. Fill out the fields below in a fresh post to claim your spot. It's first-come, first-serve and there's no limit on the number of times a team can sign up to enter a season, (A team can't sign up twice, of course. A team has to play their first match before they can sign up for a second slot) so the earlier you get involved, the more chances you'll have to break into The Cogs and prove that you and your crew can hack it in the toughest event of them all.

I've updated The Raft's roster. I probably got the crew order (as in, who the captain is) on the first ship wrong, so I might get back to you on that.

Hey, just to clarify I see we're on July 6th. Does this mean we don't play in Week 0 and our first match will be in week 1 on July 6th? Sorry, I'm sure this is a pretty idiotic question but I just want to ensure we don't miss our match up.

That's what it means, yes. The three spots for week 0 are taken, so you'll be starting in week one.

To Haven and Raft. Sorry I didn't see this sooner.
From Season 1 I haven't allowed teams to pick black and grey... You have to have a little colour for your team or it looks utterly awful on the graph. Feel free to pick any colour though... There aren't any other limitations.

Yes, but this Saturday is the final week of regular Cogs, meaning that taking the newcomer's slot doesn't really change much, since the entire upcomer's Cog becomes meaningless in the finale qualifier. So you could either sign up for this weekend just to get some experience in, or you could only sign up for the Week 8 round robin (next week) to try to nab a finale spot.

When I say "next week" I mean the week after this week. Of course this week is still regular season Cogs, but signing up as a newcomer for week 7 really doesn't do any good seeing as the upcomer's Cog becomes meaningless going into the qualifier and finale (anyone, whether they're already in Cogs or not, can enter in the week 8 qualifier).

It's still good practice and practice is everything in the Cogs. I'd recommend they play the match regardless that the consequences are irrelevant.
