Hey everyone! I am going to be making Guns of Icarus Mythbrakers videos on youtube.
In these weekly videos we will find out the secrets of Icarus's world loosely using the scientific method.
Each week I will pick a subject or question from this thread and do a very in depth study into it.
A good examples of a subject would be:
Which is better, Gat/Flak or Gat/Mortar?
Moonshine or kerosene?
Even more essential to you competitive players will be the PATCH SPECIALS episodes where we find out what exactly has changed and how that might effect you.
Here is an unpolished video on the simplest video I could think of to start. what gun kills fastest? (minus a few guns)

Some thing I would like to see are each weapon's maximum turn arcs from the helm. Experience has taught me just how far a front facing gat and flack can reach, and what part of the ship's superstructure it lines up when viewed from the helm.
This would be very us full for ships that rely on pointing the front and side weapons at a target for maximum effectiveness. (Pyra, squid, and junker)

I can do that. "captains complete guid to gun arcs while flying"
a very easy way to check on your own is go into the sandbox and hit f7 while aim on the guns to mark the max ark. Then jump on the helm and look at the markers.
