Hello Everyone. I am a long time player of the game, and would like to introduce the Discord group that ive spent the last few hours putting together. Maybe long time means that you have an account for a long time, not that you've played game for many hours?

That doesn't make any sense. If you say "I'm a long time X player" you actually mean you've been playing X for a long time.
