Y know...it just occurred to me that in GOI, we are able to add friends like no tomorrow.
Enter a match, right click everyone's names, and suddenly everyone in the room is a green name and you can...
Well...Stalk everyone.
I add everyone competent, fun, or downright insane to my friends list, but am I a friend on THEIR list?
And people say they add me as a friend on their list, but I have NO IDEA I was a friend to begin with.
Why aren't we getting a notification that someone sent a friend request to me?
Why don't we have friend requests at all?
It's a bit strange considering how "social" this game is after all.

Because stalkers need love too...

GET OUT OF HERE STALKER
At least notification "X added you to friends" would be nice, why not. Requests would be overkill I think.

I'd be ok with knowing someone added me so that I could potentially add them back.
But...stalkers? Really?
I've seen too many anime series with that kind of character, you kinda get used to them.

Would be nice. Definitely not on my priorities list, though. Gimme back spectate-swapping.

I know Im followed by people when they keep showing up daily to my custom lobbies. It does get rather irritating specially when Ive never spoken to them or got to know them. Only game Im aware of that does this anonymous friend adding.

Perhaps names of people that have you friended should show up as another color. Green, blue, red, and yellow are taken. What is a good color for stranger danger?

There's a ton of people adding literally everyone lvl > 30 to keep track of interesting matches (or provide potential players to invite).
The current system works as intended, since there's no point informing the player he's on someone's radar.

this. i exclusivley add everyone with less than 30 matches to raise my chances to increase my W/L ratio. it only works if i am with a stack and the stack is willing to 'join on me, found a good lobby'
