If someone is ingenious enough to write a Fairytale on Paritan (or a better Fairytale in New York parody) that is good, I promise to go all the way and either find a good singer or just get a bunch of community members who want to sing to make a full album to sell at xmas - with Muse consent. Money would go to charity of course.

I can't imagine there being any objection for this sort of project, but let me double-check with Howard.

you may want to check with the people that wrote the lyrics too.  personally, I'd love to create an arrangement for Carol of the Mines and record it myself for something like this, but I know that'd take forever. others may want to do their own thing with it as well.

they basically said, as long we're just using subject matter from the games for lyrics, they don't have any reservations towards this project.

I may add a stanza to mine, and make the current last stanza an ending.  because the song traditionally loops, and that's a pretty definite end I gave it.

and Hunter, I would like mine in the album too, but there's a question of how to go about it.  at the least, I would like to sing it.  producing the whole track myself would probably take too long for it to be included.

Alright. Gonna make a Google drive folder for this where I can have a form for people to submit lyrics. Then I will invite musicians to make backing tracks for our songs. Then I will ask artists to make album art for us. Until I get my PC back soon keep discussing lyrics and maybe an album name here. (i vote Carols of Icarus Offline, because it's music about goio as a download (offline))

As for performing it, I will have it as a check box whether you would prefer it as a self-done performance or on the list of songs we can do as a group. I was thinking we can have a handful of songs we can sing together - but if you wanna do it with a certain group of people or solo I'm cool with that too, same as of you want to compose your own backing music!
