What would a combat ready flying circus troupe look like?

WORKSHOP SLAVES GET TO WORK.

But yeah... surely these exists. Even in the world war they had charlie chaplin.

I'd be one heck of a mess with all the animals, though I wonder what kind of animals this world would have. Or if they had like steampunky robot ones. I imagine they would have other shows and entertainment too, I mean like bands with sketch actors at the very least. Or maybe a mobile movie theater with cartoons and news.
