Hello all,
Some of you may have gotten confused by the dates I considered for hosting this event, and in truth it would have happened but there was matters that prohibited my ability to host it on said date. So now I've dedicated Saturday January 24th as the day the event will go on.
This thread is an optional sign-up thread just so I can get a headcount on those groups of players (or individuals) interested in participating - this is not mandatory and any players or teams are more than welcome to make an impromptu attendance should they decide to. This will simply help me gauge how large of a lobby I will need to make.
Here are the Mini-Game Madness rules:
a private lobby with trusted players who will participate will form their crews and a referee will preside over the match (based on the level of participation the lobby can be adjusted for size).
The ref will offer each captain the choice of selecting their ship at the expense of all their gun slots being randomly selected or they may choose to have the ship randomly selected by the roll of dice by the ref.
Should the captain choose to randomize the choice of the ship from the dice roll they will be offered one gun placement and gun for that placement of their choosing before the dice will be rolled again for the selection of the remaining gun slots.
Crew and captain loadouts are unaffected by this and can be setup at the crews leisure.

UPDATE: Okay due to a cake event happening at 20.00 UTC, I'm hosting my event at 22.00 UTC (4pm Eastern Standard Time).

Just a heads up, I'm aiming for a 3v3 lobby so as to provide spots for plenty of players but keep it reasonable for the madness of assigning randomizations.

Tonight has been a wildly resounding success!
I plan on hosting another in roughly 2 or 3 weeks time - hopefully streaming this time :P (updates will be made as time goes on). For all those that joined, a big THANK YOU! and I hope you enjoyed yourselves! If you have any feedback on this event feel free to post below :)
