Absolutely worth suffering through starting up Origin. Course then you get reminded how EA killed the studio and ruined everything. But after that...giant cats taking over the universe. So win!

I would much rather buy it from GOG than install EA's version of Steam. $6.00 is a small price to pay for not supporting the current management and policies of EA.

GOG is very much worth supporting over EA, even over Steam at this point.

Ya, even with what I have on Origin. I might start it once every few months. I completely missed the recent Battlefield beta because I just never load it up. Downloaded it but then the beta ended before I started Origin up again. I might load it up for this tho. Last time I played WCIII was on PS1 and the PS1 version was buggy. Had a game ending glitch which made the last mission impossible to finish.

I bought BFBC2 off of GMG, I can't download it anymore, GMG sends me to Origin asking for help, and Origin sends me to GMG.
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, STICK WITH STEAM.
