As much as I love the idea of Guns becoming a real pro esport or something close to it, I'm not sure it has the spectator value that other esports do. But I'm all for trying to push this as far as it can go.

You never know. I think league is boring as hell, but roughly 10000 people a day don't think so

I generally like playing games more than watching them, but I am behind anything that increases the player base. GOI is not as disposable as COD 4 and other flashy AAA titles who have sequels already in production.

To become an official e-sport, we need cheerleaders. You know, to come out and dance around during the sniper battles to keep people entertained.

I agree with gilder here, there are substantial parts of GOI that are fun to play but not fun to watch. This problem is present in other games too.
