We finally made a official Ranking for each division.
The Placement is based on the seeding rules used at the end of the league part.
1. Win record (Wins+Ties/2)
2. head-to-head record
3. Kills per match (Kills/Matches)
4. Deaths per Match (Deaths/Matches)
If teams remain tied to this point and the seeding determines who advances to Golden Playoffs, both teams advance to the Golden Playoffs. Otherwise a coin flip will determine seeding.
And here we go with the official ranking for both divisions. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1t_y08ec0X7xbnQbYP5_yuDMBiqFlN_piT4lm3jh3JeM/edit#gid=0?usp=sharing)

I'm posting to express my disatisfaction with the death count rule for 2 reasons
a- it enforces a different way of playing that relies on more passive, careful encounters instead of agressive movement
b- it was announced way late into the games
kills per match should also be ignored, if it's a team's strategy to play defensively and prolong games it's their call to make and they shouldn't be punished for it either
head-to-head record is the only thing that actually makes sense
-
This rules are just copied out of the ruleset that was announced with the league. And its the last existing tie breaker. This will only come into account if teams are tied by all other points. So we will most likely never need it.
-
Right, as it might not have been clear these are done in order so the only way kills or deaths matter is that if your record is tied with another team, and with the way the divisions are made, you will have played them before so unless you tie there as well, kills and deaths don't matter.
Also important to know is that these only determine seeding in the final two tournaments, not winners and losers.

Updated with Week 3 Results.
Just for explanaition.
Due to mixed head to head records not allowing correct rankings due to to many mixed results alot of times deaths per match and kills per match are used for several ties.
This will probably change towards the end of season but thats how the rankings work with just 3 weeks running.

No Ranking Updates till Finish of Week 5.

Rankings updated.
Week 3 and 4 are now in.
-
Week 6 Updated.
Was obviously meant to be week 4 and week 5 in the last post ^^.
-
Should tell the green people to update ingame leaderboard as well
-
Done that one Mezhu ;).
Should be up to date.
Just as a note.
There was a slight mistake in the ranking due to a mistake in my notes for game scores.
That one was corrected. It did not affect any placement just an incorrect score for one game.

Week 7 is in.

SIR, Cake, and MM in Anvil all sitting at 4 wins, 2 losses. Next week will be quite interesting. SIR and MM facing off with Cake facing BFS. SIR has the head-to-head tie-break over Cake while Cake has the same over MM. SIR moves to Gold with a win. Cake moves with a win and a SIR loss/tie. MM moves with a win and a Cake loss/tie. :O
-
And people thought soccer was confusing.
-
it's easy... we just need SIR and Cake to lose

As for the guy saying GwTh will be seeded second if they lose vs Rydr on twitch yesterday; I don't believe this is or should be the case. GwTh do have less kills than Rydr at the moment, but their kills/match is higher. So if this doesn't change with the last match GwTh are still being seeded first even with a loss.
Am I not correct?
-
Head to head comes into play first. With equal win/loss and Rydr winning the head to head match, they would take first seed in Hammer.

Like Redria said, Head to Head. But then it applies to Kills per match, and deaths then per match; not a K/D
And if it did apply to a K/D, if Ryders won, they would very likely be ahead in K/D as well.
Right now Thralls are at 25 Kills and 8 Deaths, if they lose (without timing out) they would get 5 deaths, and up to 4 kills, making their K/D 29/13
If the Ryders won (5 Kills, 4 deaths), their current K/D of 26/9 would go to 31/13
And that'd be the best case scenario for a normal loss. If the match timed out with only 1 kill for Ryders, both teams would just be tied at 26/9; but I think that neither team wants to go for a time out.
