If you're looking for people to play with, try joining one of Guns of Icarus' numberous great clans. Many of them are welcome to new players who are looking to learn more about the game. All of which can be found in The Docks.

Or, if you just want to be independent, try gathering a few people up (who are frequently active) and starting your own clan.
