I actually went back and checked and seems like it wasn't a meme-thread at all. It was in fact a crew reqruitment thread that was turned into a meme-thread. Anyways.

I know manticores can be frustrating, even to experienced players, but give the game some time and you'll see a well coordinated crew sticking to their assignments can easily handle the hwacha.  Good flying and positioning alone can mitigate it's effect greatly and if your engines go down the captain automatically becomes another engineer since there's no more need to stay at the helm.

question... how often do you even use your hwacha side? seems like the only time I even seen it used was duel at dawn

The hwachas get used every match. Useful, but as we all know not that killy.
