That moment when a level 1 engi decides he knows more about Squid-piloting than the pilot. Forget kick buttons, we need a "Hit in head with pipe wrench, throw over side" button.

So far, only 3 ships really named but:
V.S.S. Fenris (Junker)- Contrary to popular opinion, it ISN'T named after the whiny elf from Dragon Age 2 (Although I did love that game.) It's named after the wolf that bit off Tyr's (The god of heroism) hand in Norse myth.
V.S.S. Surprise (Squid)- Both as an homage to Master and Commander, and because nothing is better than an enemy locking on to a ship that just appeared out of nowhere and is named Surprise.
V.S.S. Mjolnir (Mobula)- Its a Mobula. Mobulas are shaped like hammers. You do the math.

As the newest member of [Cake], allow me to say DO IT! DO IT NOW! Cake has the upsides of being skilled, laid-back, and nice to noobs like me (LV4 Pilot, 2 Engi, 1 Gunner).

Well, If my stint with Nietzsche Mustache is any indication, [Cake] is really good at this.
I was hoping to get practice in so I don't have to explain my plan to the enemy team/while under fire, but it looks like a [Cake] pickup crew can catch on quick.

It is essential to crave fireeeeIronically I was worried about having too little fire, but between when I decided to ask for membership and when I posted I captained a Carronade/Flamer/Banshee Squid and decided that it was the best thing since sliced bread. So I will BRING FIRE!
P.S. Considering the fire love, has anyone considered

If you would like to meet a bunch of us, please come along to the Iron Fork of Friday. It's a Cake event especially for situations like this.
