Title: Borderless Windowed Mode
Post by: Benolot on August 21, 2015, 03:40:16 pm
Hey Muse and wider Community,

As a streamer, I hate playing in Windowed mode, and OBS doesnt work with Fullscreen games, so I'd very much love it if GoIO Would add a Borderless Windowed mode. I dont have any technical knowledge of how difficult this would be, but I assume it would be practical enough.

There's a work around for borderless windowed mode. I use it.

If I remember correctly, in game, you set it to full screen. Then in your steam library, right click GoI and then go to properties, set launch options, and then put in -popupwindow and it should work

You're right about the -popupwindow part in the launch options, but first you have to set your game to windowed mode in-game.

Also this work around has been in place for years now without an end in sight. Can we finally get a real borderless windowed mode please muse?

Unity issue. The engine is capable of launching in that manner with a console command. That functionality however is not exposed directly in code. Basically it will be in when Unity properly supports it, but before then it would be difficult to support :P
