Allow the spyglass to temporarily spot/mark a mine for a short duration, informing the pilot of its' position. Maybe something like a red version of the usual ship spot?
-
I've been wanting this for ages ^^
-
I agree to that idea as well.
-
Would this also come with automatic marking of friendly mines? Or at the very least the ability to mark them too?

There are no friendly mines... and once you have a mine launcher: There are no allies.
-
Once you pull the pin, Mr Grenade is not our friend.

Hey, I really don't see any reason why this shouldn't be implemented. I'm up for it.
-
Mebbe also a potential pilot item "sonar pulse" that will mark all mines in a small radius. Could have a cooldown and maybe jam guns briefly.

You know, I sometimes wish I could see just my team's mines at the very least. It'd make holding that hill a lot less of an explosion fest. Even a tiny marker letting the guy shooting the mines know which mines are in which order would be nice. Of course, if this is intentionally left out to increase the skill curve for more interesting MLG matches... huehuehueheue

I asked muse in a stream. They said No, too much of nerf. End of discussion.

Thats a awsome idea!
Maybe making it a grey framework for notification, so you don't get confused with other ships ;-).

This seems like a good reason to me.
Don't think it ends the discussion though - other players might not agree.

I mean, mines are meant to be sneaky. While I know getting random people with mine launchers is probably the worst in terms of coordination, it's important to know where your ally intends to make a field or lay some speculative mines out. As Muse said, it would be a nerf.

Yeah, it was a little rude. Apologies.
