Does that mean rate of ragequits?
I'm 100% though I have dced a few times and never came back to a match (I never ragequit, only rage). Which in some games would see as a ragequit.
So how does it work?
-
I believe if you leave whether intentionally or not it counts.
-
0% means you left every game you ever played
100% means you finished every game you ever played
Disconnecting in any form counts as a leave if you do not rejoin before the match ends.
Official description from the devs is that the number resets after a month - I believe it may be slightly more complex, I'm not sure if the amount of time you spend in-game affects the reset.
-
Huh... well seeing as I played over 1000 matches.
I think my 99.999999% is rounded up to 100%

It always rounds down,
Your completion has just been reset.

I don't understand. If it resets every month wouldn't everyone be 100%? Or like... I don't understand how that works.

If thats the case I should ragequit more often. I swear I might being the most profane of vets (next to leon), but I'm definitely the most stubborn about ragequitting.
As a result I have been stuck in terrible long ass noob matches that go on forever because no one doesn't know how to do anything. I'm telling them how to do their thing and they question why I'm calling them stupid and questioning their every... asinine... action (and word)...
I need this to be true or my symptom for playing too much guns is punching babies in my impotent rage.

Match completion does depict the rate of quitting a match before ending it and or dcing and not getting back before the victory screen. Match completion is not rounded up, but rounded down. However, to give players a second chance and for having more accurate, recent, completion rates - the match count for the completion resets every so often. I believe it is 30 days but don't catch me on that. That is why you would appear to have 100% when in reality the number is different - because for the current time period the game checks, you have 100% of your matches completed.
-
So someone could ragequit every match for months, then the counter resets and they're back to 100%? What is the point of it then?

It's as pointless as a skill-based matchmaking system with 200 people online and being forced into crewform with entire team of random players because of an arbitrary 3 match limit.

This ^
This quote I could not agree with more.
I have seen people rage quit, after spewing bile on match chat many times, and then brag their 100% completion, even deny rage quits.
This mechanic allows people to hide behind a false number.

There should be a better system than a complete reset

Dutch Vanya, I will salute you to death *smashes button furiously*
This is STUPID. Amazingly stupid! If you want to improve you match completion rate you know what you do?
YOU
PLAY
MATCHES
AND (here comes the hard part)
STAY TO THE END
Well... if you 'need' to make it this way increase the time to like 6 months or a year. Then the number is quite valid but if you screwed up at the beginning - it will be forgotten after some time. Did anyone contacted Muse about this?

I was at 100% for most of my goi time. The other day the game crashed, in a way was that i wasn't even able to reconnect to the match moments later, so it instantly jumped to 97%. Why even have the number if it's going to be this meaningless?

This is exactly the reason it resets. I don't know why all of you are whining about it resetting every month. It still gets a quite accurate picture of the leave count, and if you crash in a bad time - it doesn't screw you over. I think this system is great actually, or at least way better than the leave counter from before.

I think resetting on a monthly basis is a bit too regular, as I said there are people who hide behind false numbers to hide their true colours...

Hmm. Since I can no longer keep my levels low via not doing achievements, perhaps I can lower the completion rate to ridiculous numbers.

Keyvias answered:
"It doesn't reset I found out. It just counts matches in the past 30 days in a rolling style."
Personally, I think that this number should be increased to 60 or 90 days, the 30-day system seem too benign.
