Title: Altimeter and seeing enemy crews on ships.
Post by: Bryann on May 19, 2013, 02:48:50 pm
Ships need an altimeter or at least some indicator that shows that you are changing altitudes. It would help give the pilot a sense of movement when mashing W or S.

Also it would be interesting to see the enemy crew visible on ships instead of ghost ships flying about. From a gameplay perspective, it would help players learn what the crew is doing like seeing them scramble for engine repairs or manning their guns.

As Moo directed to, I can explain in this post;

There is a blue altimeter located right next to your steering-wheel and velocity-meter. If you carefully look, you'll see the blue liquid inside increasing in volume as you go higher, and decreasing in volume / shrinking as you go lower.

That's a form of altimeter, and it is sufficient for any pilot (or non-pilot) controlling the ship.

Good suggestion, though! But it is already ingame.
