Ok. Week 8 peoples. Format's a bit different but lets run with it. There may be 1 extra match in the event of a tie but we won't be tipping that due to logistical nightmares.

Tipping posts MUST be set out as follows:

Tipping closes at start of Cogs this week. To make up for the late announcements obviously.

TIEBREAKER this week is the Destructiod vs Brood match. So make sure you get the scores in for that.

Veyka:
Match 1: Pasta 600:0
Match 2: Can't tip a game I am in
Match 3: BFS 5:0
Match 4: Can't tip a game I am in again

Comments:

Match 1: This map is normally a winner takes all as its very very hard to decap, I can just see the pasta patrol take this one and manage to hang on
Match 2: I'm in this one, so nothing from me (Go Brood!)
Match 3: BFS should have an easy time, Destructoid are very green
Match 4: Again, can't tip my own match (Go brood)

N-Sunderland:
Match 1: My match
Match 2: Black Flight Squadron 5-3
Match 3: Black Flight Squadron 5-0
Match 4: The Brood 5-0

Match 1: My match. Not very encouraging to see people betting against us, but we'll give it our all. We've ironed out the issues that cost us the victory against the Brood, so I'm optimistic about it.
Match 2: Both are good teams. I'm giving the edge to BFS, but it could go either way.
Match 3: The Destructoid guys are new and are still getting to grips with the game. Easy win for BFS.
Match 4: Same as match 3.

Labyrinth imo is dependent on pilot abilities and Hizumi is one of the craziest  pilots in the game. Also while the Pastafarian Goterrdamarung is one of the most fearsome galleon in the game, I don't think the galleon is an effective ship on Labyrinth. Score 600-0 (I don't mean that as a blow out, I just feel that Labyrinth is generally all or nothing)

Concerning BFS. AAs I can say from my first attempt at piloting in the cogs, experience is probably the most important indicator of success. The BFS has had two weeks of competitive play and I am sure after their performance against Polaris they made sure to put their axe to the grindstone and sharpen it.
