AI now keep using the ammo that is loaded

--- End quote ---
But on the Contrary Schwalbe, if you find a competant human being that hasnt sniffed 3 tons of glue and is WILLING to learn from you While systematically murdering a bunch of experienced players....
Then thats pretty much the best feeling in the world.
Something that some empty minded AI isn't going to provide me.
Its a bit rare, but i still have hope when i go flying with the newbs to recruit into the new clan im in.

That isn't by definition a noob.
Its a very specialised term specifically to refer to the glue sniffing imbeciles.
Hoja Lateralus:
One of the bigger arguments against making AI smarter is that then vets would definately not want to play with noobs.
Also Skymonger, you have skewed definition of noob. Although it does originate from the word 'newbie', it doesn't just mean a new guy, or a greenhorn. It specifically means an imbecile.
To quote: "[when people are calling you a noob] they are not only saying that you have no idea what you're doing, but also that's a bad thing. You SHOULD know what you're doing, but you still don't. Or you show no interest into knowing HOW to do it. "
Arturo Sanchez:
No vet wants to play with noobs anyway. I don't see the issue. The grief of teaching dumb people just isn't worth the hassle.
And theres not like a feature for locking empty slots.
IntrepidFusion:
I like playing with the new people. I've met a lot of cool guys who want to learn, and are learning, and they like playing with me too.
Having [AI] Jesus is fun too.

Those by definition are not noobs.
What we are refering to are the "stop teaching me how to play, I'm just having fun as I instantly fail every encounter I come into because I refuse to be taught the basics of the games mechanics and meta" types.
You know. People that don't even bother to play the game but get all mad or frustrated and leave the game because somehow the game is bad, by some obtuse logic simply because they can't win without trying.
And THOSE are as common pennies.
I'm gonna rehash the point I made when this topic comes up.
Fighting games have high learning curve. Guns in comparison is nothing compared to it. And yet people all over the world love the games in the genre. It has such a solid following that it was esports before esports was a thing.
There is a standard of quality play. And you don't join that community without aspirations to get good at the game. To reach said standards and play on par with your peers.
This however is not apparent in guns of icarus. Its a sad state of affairs when the competitive scene is a niche within a PvP based game.
In anycase to the point. If you raise the bar, people will follow it up. If the game has a culture of people being put up to challenges as a norm. (in fact dark souls has a similar culture). Then the only expectation is that every player in the game wants to play the game well and to win.
Sure its not about winning and blah de blah... have you seen the game? It literally has the specific objective to win against an opponent. Sure you might not win. But the fun part is the earnest struggle to try.
No noob is doing that. All I hear from them are lame excuses.
