Daft Loon:
If the number of votes for each map/mode displayed in real time you could move your vote to whatever option you like that has the most current votes.

Ex:

Dunes - 5 votes

Fjords - 4 votes

Paritan - 2 votes

Duel - 1 vote

Hazard - your vote

You could change to a vote for Fjords and hope the other 3 minority voters also do so. Tie-breaking would be more rare unless the vote split evenly compared to blind voting where 3-3-3-2-2-1 or similar would be common vote totals.
