So I think I would be remiss to ignore, as a Bard especially, that I very much welcome the challenge of making a cover of the GoIO theme!~ I was already thinking of making a few sky-shanties to sing or EDM remix the music available (seriously, upgrade to Collector's Edition~ this soundtrack is awesome!), so when I caught up on what events were happening I thought it'd be the perfect time to stop lollygagging and JUST DO IT. I don't know how much time I have left (I am barely proficient in musical notation), but I'm forcing myself to deconstruct the sheet music and theme for this project of mine so it can be perfect!!!! ^^ <3
Is anyone else planning or has already sent in their covers? :3 What did you play or sing? Are you guys writing lyrics? DO you wanna make more shanties for the crews in the game? :D

I submitted a piano piece.
I cant read score so I learned the tune through trial and error and then incorporated it into a piece i made based on Paritan.

Haha, my friend wrote it in piano sheet music form, he's not finished recording himself playing on Piano, but I keep nagging him to.
So he's another pianist.
Myself? I wanted to persuade Hannah to dance to it, but she's enjoying too much Ska and Rock to take any notice of anything else I try to play....

So I sent my song in prematurely because I thought I missed the deadline (ahhhh my sleep deprived musings!~), but I also managed to convince my brother to play a guitar cover a la Satriani or Santana style. Once I have time (hahahahahahaahhHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!) I'm gonna actually record some singing to it, but the theme doesn't really lend itself to conventional singing and lyrics so it's a challenge for me (or maybe it's just 'cause I'm picky! :P).
And yes Hanna should do all the dancing! <3
