Request a longtime offline player's name

Fish of Purple:
So, I'm just a bit sad that the names I like using in other games are taken up by players 700+ days offline.  I would really appreciate if there was someway to perform a 'name swap' with a longtime offline player (this could be judged by 500+ days offline).  I think this could go well with the game's idea of "strong community involvement", because it: A. Encourages people to play, or even just log in now and then so they don't lose their name, and B. Allows active participants to interact with the community with a name they enjoy.  Maybe give the 'name swapped' offline players a free name change to prevent trolling.  It feels cheap to have your favorite name taken up by a person who has obivously stopped playing.

Protip: I requested this of a dev and got locked out of all social features once my name was "Anakin" rather than "-Anakin-". I only regained access once my name changed back.
