Because society applies too many of the standards/responsibilities and not enough of the freedoms of being an adult on teens, meanwhile removing or stigmatizing many of the pastimes of their youth.
What are we going to find to complain about future generations once complaining about millennials is done?

Laziness is always a common complaint. When you compare your 20year work history to some teenager just entering the labor market, it is easy to feel superior. Same with the need for imitate gratification. The next generation will not have known a time where entertainment didn't happen on their schedule. Those of us who had to wake up early for our Saturday morning cartoons are going to feel a bit of jealousy towards this.
What will my specific offspring do to to piss me off in 10 to 15 years (he is 2 right now)?
