Pyra is still a common ship and wins in pub matches because it's easy. Brawl builds are still powerful but range is less so due to the hull nerf. For experienced captains and crew the pyra is outclassed but in pub matches it still works and I don't think its win rate took a big hit.
The nerf reduced acceleration from 2.5 to 2.25 m/s2. I think it should be back near 2.5 because speed made it the brawler it was. Now it's the speed of a galleon.
I would happily fly a pyra with 550 hull but not with 2.25 m/s2.

Back to the topic, it's a nice idea but probably too much of a hassle to do. Not to sound harsh, but there are more needed things that require less work and they still haven't been done.

I want an after match dance party! Winning is all well and good, but winning while looking fabulous while doing it is even more important.
