That's not true. I was wondering because using a program to edit controls causes the game to crash on startup. Simply editing controls wouldn't let you double click the throttle because there is a limit to throttle changing speed and the throttle is clearly jumping two at a time.

The game tries to prevent cheating but there's a workaround so I'm wondering what it is.

Lueosi:
Maybe the game has different behavior in Linux but I highly doubt that because I never felt a difference between changing throttle on Linux and Windows. I'm clicking really fast though.

BlackenedPies:
I first noticed it on the flak video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coLBo35u5e8
The throttle is changing faster than I thought possible and jumping positions which I didn't think was possible.

After testing with rapid clicking 2 mouses simultaneously and with higher ping (above 150) I've been able to recreate the effect. With a higher ping the throttle can appear to be jumping and I was able to change throttle position very quickly by clicking two mice. I apologize for the accusation.

The throttle is changing faster than I thought possible and jumping positions which I didn't think was possible. No matter how fast I click I cannot recreate anything close to that speed.

It is probably a product of 4v4 lag and low fps of the video due to the 4v4 and the stupid amount of flaks that were in the air. Low fps could have just made it look like it was skipping stages.

Arturo Sanchez:
the heck happened to geo btw.

Haven't seen that bugger in eons.
