True enough, the panty machines always amused me a great deal.  Had a shipmate whose wife was seriously considering doing some idol modeling, she'd been approached in the street dozens of times in Tokyo, being a toe head green eyed swede.  But when she found out what costumes it was going to entail she chickened out super fast.

I don't blame her.
