Shorter map vote
« on: June 13, 2015, 09:11:19 am »
Since many captains don't choose their loadouts and ships before map is chosen, I suggest shortening map vote time by 10-15 seconds. If you don't want to shorten the time in the lobby, add those 10-15 seconds to the lobby timer.

You're on a roll today, I've actually given up explaining why readying up before map vote end is not a good idea... Though this often leaves me with an empty mobula ally on paritan rumble, it avoids impatient"screw you nub, I red dat dis is best ship yo" players from needing to be blocked...

Unless they are legitimately nice, then they get the advice 8)

I sent in a suggestion about streamlining some aspects of the lobby and it included showing the vote totals in progress to make it easier to prepare early (unless there is a sudden swing in the votes). The general response to the whole set of ideas was ~ 'Good ideas, we'll consider it', so they might be considering some changes to this.

dat feel when the scrub pilots ready so early during the vite map and in such majority that you have 30s once the map is shown and you need to look up their ships and think up the builds and give the correct loadouts to scrub crew that wont listen.

all of the screw that noise *finds better lobby.

Two Quotes myself uses on a regular basis

Never ready up before you have seen the map and enemy ship load-outs. Would you rush in to battle just to get shot?

Saying ready up is pointless. The pilots will take time to set crews up. Always set your ship up after the Map has been chosen.

The thing is. Either they either are willfully dense or just do not care.

Confucius say: He who desires to ready up the most is the least ready
