Good to see another streamer and YT channel!
My advice, definitely try to keep that YouTube channel filled up with recordings, try to keep the edits to the streams going onto YouTube basic, this will make it easier for you, this is especially so if.you want to monetize your channels, YouTube videos will always be there, keep updating them and the people following you have reason to keep going back to your profile.
Not everyone uses the follow feature, some people follow their favourites manually, so don't be put off by the numbers of followers YouTube shows.
The edits of streams try to keep basic, cutting out loading times where nothing important is being said, other than that don't worry about other edits.
