It looks like it could be a heavy fireball launcher.

Its not a heavy fireball launcher.

What it is isn't that great. (anyone around here who would put it in thier top 3 guns?)

I think it would be worth reinventing it.

Speculative properties:

-Medium long range

-High direct fire damage (400 takes out 1/2 a baloon or a squids armor but none other or a junkers hull but none other so maybe 200-300 per clip as a starter)

-Moderate ignition chance

-Maybe an arming time

-Slow arcing shots

-Several shots per clip (4-8), medium high rate of fire

-Reload longer than medium hull rebuild (so its difficult to use it for both armor and hull at once)

-Large area of effect or (if its even possible) flamethrower style particles that collectively follow the shape and trajectory of an expanding fireball

Any thoughts, refinements, seething hatred from rabid minotaur fans, plugs for the prometheus heavy flamer?

Daft Loon:
The "plugs for the prometheus heavy flamer?" being a joke that because this was a discussion of a heavy fire based weapon you would turn up and mention your idea (nice job on the rendering of it btw) at some point.
