Lobby voice chat indicators

(1/4) > >>

Daft Loon:
Currently we have a small speaker symbol to tell you who is talking, more information could be useful

-Some way to tell what context other people are speaking in (a symbol for lobby, team, party and/or displaying the keybinding you need to reply to them in the same context)

-A different indicator to show that people in the other team are talking to each other

-Along with a suggestion in another thread - an indicator that someone has temporarily blocked your part of the lobby for purposes of talking to thier team

-An indicator that someone has voice chat disabled

Carn:
How about a visual difference between party and crew chat for matches? And captain chat for them.

My suggestion to Muse was colored icons: White for X, Orange for C, and Purple for Z

I've suggested an "I can't hear you" icon some time ago, perhaps Muse could use a little reminder.

But all in all, yes, we need all of those.

Ooh, I like that. Def would make things a bit easier in the lobby. I would also love the ability to temp mute the other team in one go just so plans could be laid out without having to type everything.

That would be really handy to have a clear distinction between crew and captains chat. So many times we have to let our captains know its the wrong chat. It's an easy mistake to make, but it would be nice to have clarity.
