How is a galleon suppose to deal with spin cannon?

Strategy 1:

Strategy 2:
Use Phoenix Claw (pilot tool, looks like a chicken foot) to spin the ship back.
EDIT: Oop, nope, BlackenedPies edited his post to say that too.
Strategy 3:
Put a Mercury Field Gun (sniper rifle) on the port side light gun mount and snipe out the Minotaur before it can spin you around.

"Spin Cannon"
Sounds like something from Dragon Ball.
Saull:
It's a pretty easy gun to out range after the last patch but for sure broadside ships like the galleon and junker feel the spin more then most ships as the spin increases when shots connect further away from a ships center of gravity. Not only does kerosene and moonshine reduce spin but charging with those tools should force them to hit your front rather then your sides resulting in even less spin. Galleon is a heavy ship and fast once it gets rolling so if you have to opening up with a ram isn't terrible. Just make sure you aren't leaving your ally behind to fight a 2v1 because you're getting frustrated
TeddyBearMafia:
I'm confused as to what ship has the minotaur that you are facing in a galleon, other than another galleon.
A minotaur on a fish is relatively weak, just persist through it and broadside them with some hwachas. One on a spire might be more troublesome, but same deal. TBH the only trouble I've had with a minotaur is on a junker vs. a hwacha/taur galleon broadside. Definitely need more information about the situation to help with strategies.
