I think there is a chance to name your own AI through a competition, but that may just be a thing of the past

One of the early tournaments had "Name an AI" as a prize. I believe the ducks took that one.

I noticed... that damn duckie mcquackerson (something like that) not fixing my engines.
That being said. I want the costume.
Not the mask/headgear. that way muse can have there little AI segregation agenda.

Seriously, all these guys are toothpicks. Wheres the engies with arms like bull necks from swinging the mallets all day? Where are the Gunners who have to constantly compensate for recoil, those guys should have some buff arms.
