As popular as CoD. We'd have a zombies mode where you have to fight wave after wave of steampunk zombies trying to take over your airship. Powder monkeys would have a reason for existing since they'd be the gun toting lunatics...and swabbies...swabbies...would be noble sacrifices to ensure the pilots escaped successfully!!

So...take anything in this world or fantasy world and respond to the title. If GOIO was...then whatever comes to mind. It can be other games or even as simple and stupid as a McD's Happy Meal. Just gotta describe what it would be like if it was whatever you'd imagine.

a Happy Meal. The ships would be toys. We'd go from place to place trying to collect all the ships because Muse would be jerks and roll them all out at the same time but not all the restaurants would have the same ones being put into the meals. Novice players wouldn't know this and would be happy with whatever they get. Vet players would have a massive hoarding and would fight each other over exclusives yet would never share any extras because, "someday they'll be worth something!".

Code Geass...all the decent players would be butchered within five minutes after they finally establish their presence in the community. GOIO would come under the rule of the trolls who would thus force Muse to patch in lasers and all sorts of insane technology. GOIO would eventually implode as some Diesel/Steam/Cyberpunk mecha insanity, with zombies, and Sky Whales would then become the dominant forms of life on the planet as they feast on the remains of the trolls who took over GOIO.

trolls in the guns community aren't self sustaining.

they eventually cordon themselves from the community as a result and the moment they want to actually play they're stuck with other trolls or noobs.

I imagine the guns community as a game of killing floor.

A 90s/late 80s exercise dance video. Everyone would be in tights. Engineering would be like DDR, balancing stamina with exercise moves to repair ships and put out fires. Gunners would have a "get pumped" meter that would fill whenever they'd reload. When full it would grant instant reloads and turn them into sexual tyranosaurses. Pilots would be either the buxom blonde or ripped Sweddish hunks that leads the routine. Either way, they'd have some form of big hair style that has carried over from the 80s.
