This started with me having joining a pub, and my teammate was a level 1 captain.

And, yes, he was one of the ones that didn't listen.

This basically sums it up:

When noobs say they're tired of higher level players getting angry at them for simply playing this game that they bought. When noobs tell me the community sucks because everyone is so rude to them, and I want to correct them and say the GoI community as a whole is very friendly and receptive fo new players, but I don't know if I can anymore.

What a buncha noobs

too many to name

and many of us have memed the major ones.

So I'll just mention the most common one. Me and fish as the only AIs on currently (usually after a session). Suffice to say the night ends in depression and questioning why we continue to try to get better when we keep getting dragged to play at lower lvls of play.

When you just want to hit a few things with a spanner and get on with your life but you end up in a lobby where no one knows how to build or operate an effective ship. (Are captains who refuse to change from gunner but also refuse to pilot once the match begins still a thing?)

Meanwhile, you're like...
