Connor Mc.:
it's very frustrating, I mean, the fact that teaching Evolution in schools can be considered out landish is freaking ridiculous
N-Sunderland:
I know! Especially when your constitution clearly states that the government shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. I'm fine with people practicing their beliefs, but it should not have an effect on schooling, and in particular they shouldn't try acting as if they deserve priority over all other groups. Whether they like or not, evolution is proven.
Connor Mc.:
yeah it was kinda the whole reason for our nation starting in the first place, religious freedom, all because your family is catholic doesn't mean every single other family in the school is catholic, or should be catholic. Then they have the audacity to say it's un-american to not teach God in schools smh.
N-Sunderland:
Exactly. And if Muslims started asking for the Qu'ran to be taught in schools, the same ones pushing the Bible to be taught would be furious about it. The only way to be fair to all religions is to have them keep to themselves, or else nobody's going to benefit.
Connor Mc.:
yeah unfortunately (correct me if im wrong) I think Christianity, Catholicism, preach for you to try and convert as many people as possible, they may be trying to do good by what they think is "saving" us, but in reality it's not good if we as a society want to move forward
