Have something about the gun's rate of fire, rotation speed and reload time decreasing while the weapon is damaged so it is important to keep guns fully repaired during reloads/while firing to achieve maximum efficiency in DPS.
Also in general more emphasis about what exactly happens when certain components are damaged/destroyed, this is extremely important for both pilots, engineers and gunners to give priority to certain components whether it'll be with considering engagements while certain component hp is low for pilots, repairing certain components above other for certain situations for engineers, and knowing what to shoot down at times for gunners.
