That moment when you're flying on Desert Scrap and an enemy ship comes out of the sand storm to ram you, misses, and pancakes into the wreckage.

That moment you finally get the guts to get off of sandbox and do some real piloting, only to realize that not all clouds are destructive masses of evil.

That moment when you see a tar barrel cloud, and shout "Lerooooooy Jenkins!" as you blast through it on Kerosene.

That moment when you're charging towards an enemy lumberfish, and it takes your balloon out when you're about 300 metres away.

However, thanks to being a few metres above it, you're able to engage moonshine and make an epic descending balloonless ram.

That moment when you hit something in a galleon, spinning you 180 degrees, and telling your crew "Well I guess it wants starboard side..."

That moment when your name is James T. Kirk, you're flying the USS Enterprise, and see your main engineer is wearing a red shirt.

That moment the engineer notices his poor wardrobe choice, panics, and jumps off the ship.

That moment when, as you watch the poor soul fall, the allied ship below you explodes for seemingly no reason.

that moment when you're trying to blast straight through a sandstorm (Usually on fucking desert scrap) and you realise that the sandstorm is moving with your ship so all your stuff gets continually fucked up, but you don't want to change course because now you're invested in getting to the other side of the sandstorm, and also, changing course would be a sign of weakness which the sandstorms would seize upon and fuck you up even more until the steady scraping noise haunts your nightmares until the day you die... I should probably calm down.

(But seriously, no mortal tongue can convey the hatred I have for sandstorms on desert scrap)

That moment when you realize the vast majority of your posts on the forums allude to flares or their usage.

That moment you decide "eh, fuck it" and embrace your destiny of becoming 'that flare guy'.

Seriously though, I sometimes write a reply and go, "wait, I included something about flares again" and second-guess whether I should hit that Post button- like the Manta Ray dance party thread and that guide to which ammo to bring (edit: also, the sneaky night map thread). May as well just let it happen...
