(Carn) "When I say trade ship, I refer to a ship built for trading, not a modified warship. However, a galleon modified in that way makes a good substitute, and mobulas have a large amount of deckspace."
(Ingur) "Oh yeah, Gunhild told me about that time you had to repel 100 feet off a mobula, bet that was fun."
(Carn) shudders "I did that more than once, Shock Drops are a pain. I prefer Squid Jumps."
(Ingur) "What was that one again?"
(Carn) "Squid flies in low and fast, and you pretty much just jump off, Shock Drops they fly you way up high, then descend at insane speeds, after that you repel or jump off. The need for rapid elevation change is why they use mobulas for that."
ShadedExalt:
"...Or you could just constantly vent and piss off your engis."
Carn:
(Carn) "They were...... combined with the mobulas abilities, well. You learned not to eat beforehand."
(Ingur) "Gunhild kept saying about all the grunts who tried to tough it out and lost there lunch."
(Carn) "I preferred to play it smart, then act tough. But yeah, you eat before that and you can kiss your lunch goodbye when it comes back up."

"Pft, soldiers. I'm not saying it's pleasant, but in basic training every Guild crewman and pilot is put through just that."

(Carn) "Again, I played it smart. I listened to what the high ups said. And I thought you hated the Guild? You called them a bunch of pricks. In any event, I highly doubt they had to repel 100 feet while being shot at, and land battle ready immediately after said drop. The drop itself usually was a few thousand feet."
(Ingur) fingering her carbine "Boys.... no pissing contests while I have a hangover."
