RP Tavern (Name never set in stone!)

[Koali]

*Yawns and falls asleep.*

*Picks up Koali and places him in a prototype basket from the Squidlet.*

Not the best bed, but it'll do.

[Carn]

(Ingur) rolls off the bunk and comes up scrabbling for a weapon, then the hangover sets in "Oowwww, my head."

(Carn) jerking awake at the thump he comes to the ready, then realizes that it is his fiance. knocking on the door he says "I set out a change of clothes from your luggage for you. Theres also a canteen of fresh water." 

[Koali]

*Yawns and stretches.*

[Carn]

decending the ship Carn and Ingur return to the tavern

(Carn) "..and if your going to drink Hellfire, dont have mead along with it."

(Ingur) "Yeah, yeah. yeah, i get it."

(Carn) "You were saying something about pretty bullets."

(Ingur) "Ok, i see your point."

[Koali]

"Oh, hi! Good morn-"

*Looks around.*

"-Afternoon!"

[Carn]

(Carn) "Or evening, i see you've been working on a basket hull for the mini craft."

(Ingur) "You boys building something?"

(Carn) "A light, personal craft for Koali."

(Ingur) pouting "And you never thought to talk to me?"

(Carn) "If you want to take a look at the schematics, they're on the wall."

(Ingur) goes over to examine the schematics

[Koali]

"Yeah, this seems like the first time my conveniently fast building skills are failing me."

*Walks over to the schematics on the wall.*

"The idea is to expand my combat capabilities. As you've seen, I have a personal armory, and I also have a floating ability. The issue is that I can't use both at the same time, as I have to have my mouth open for guns but closed for floating. That's where the Squidlet comes in. It'll allow me to fly around and use my guns at the same time. Oh, and..."

*Indicates an alternate basket design.*

"It could be modified into a small, fast scout ship for one person."

[Carn]

(Carn) "Honestly those "schematics" are just a rough sketch i did one afternoon."

(Ingur) "I know of a small engine design, thats fairly simple to make. Its feasible i could manufacture a prototype engine in a few days."

(Carn) "Told you she was smart."

(Ingur) "Oh did you? And what else did you tell them about me?"

[Koali]

"Let's see..."

*Counting on nonexistent fingers.*

"That you were a crack shot, that your sister was his CO, that you were sweet and yet strong... Really, nothing but good things!"

"Except maybe your older sister being his former CO..."

[Carn]

(Ingur) "Oh, did he tell you the story of how we found out my sister was his CO?"

(Carn) slinks down into seat and grabs a drink

[Koali]

"No, do tell."

*Smirks at Carn.*

*Also smirks at Carn.*

[Carn]

(Carn) "Oh your an automaton Nestor, how can you even smirk?"

(Ingur) "Your avoiding the subject dear, if you won't tell them, I will."

(Carn) "Fine, pull up a seat you two, may take awhile.  And grab some Raiders Rum will you? It helps the story move along."

[Koali]

*Takes an affronted tone.*

"Well, pardon me, SIR. I happen to have a face, and I'm going to use it to express myself just like any self-respecting person."

"It's alright, Nestor, I think he just hasn't seen you do that before."

"Hmph."

*Serves up some rum in three glasses. The one in front of Carn is a little odd, though.*

It's not poison, Nestor just mixed a little something in to get back at you. It's your choice what it should be.

[Carn]

(Carn) "Only regular rum i guess," takes a sip "wait a second, kerosene and charged powder?" downs half of the remaining glass "That the closest i've had to Raider's Rum in ages! Thanks Nestor. Anyways to the story

wiggly flashback transit

Carn had recently finished basic training and was selected to join one of the new experimental Marauder units. His new CO was a real hardcase, he joined the group with two others, one of them had tried to flirt with their hotheaded new CO, said he could "Tame the Shrew" he'd been in the infirmary for over a week. A bunch of the guys were joking around in the commons area when Carn got a surprise visit from his girlfriend Ingur Krell.
 (Ingur) So this is where your staying is it?

(Carn) It is the barracks dear.)
Meanwhile, First Lieutenant Gunhild Krell, had gotten wind that one of her new grunts had an unscheduled visitor. Though not opposed to the idea, they needed to put the visitor in the system, which required her to go and have a word with her
(Gunhild) Alright Gormson, i hear you have guest? You know the protocol all new visitors must.......INGUR?"

(Ingur) "Gunhild? What are you doing here? I haven't heard from you in months!"

(Gunhild) "I sent a letter awhile ago, must've gotten lost in the mail. What are you doing here?"

(Ingur) sidling up next to Carn she replies "Visiting my boyfriend"

you could of heard a fly fart, the room was so quiet

(Gunhild) turning to Carn and fixing him with a gaze colder then the heart of a glacier "Your dating my little sister Gormson?"

(Carn) "Apparently so Ma'am"

(Gunhild) walking up close to Carn she says quietly so only Carn and Ingur can hear her "You hurt her, and i will personally hunt you down, is that understood?"

(Carn) "Yes Ma'am."

(Gunhild) "Good. Have a nice evening."   

[Koali]

"..."

*Mouth agape.*

*Looks over at Nestor.*

"Wow, she sounds like quite something... I'd hate to be on her bad side..."
