Koali, who was not expecting the noise, jumped up to the ceiling and clung to a rafter.

"YEEBUS! What was that?! The turbo squid, you say? What, do you accelerate to traveling speed, shut off the engines, glide to the destination, and fire up the engines full of pure moonshine to use as brakes?!"

(Carn) "No. The 6 main engines run on pure moonshine. Those it uses forwards facing rockets as brakes."

The door is broken in.

(Gunhild) "Oops. Engine malfunction."

Various engineers can be heard swearing in the background.

(Carn) "Do you have it?"

(Gunhild) "Yes. I have the book and the stone. I also managed to find some powders."

(Carn) "Good. That will speed things along."

{[AI] Nestor}: *Looks away to hide clockwork tears, then turns back toward everyone with as angry of a face as he can muster with his immovable faceplate.*

"That door was an antique, far older than even some of the things buried in the Anglean glaciers!"

"Nestor, you do realize that that door has been smashed and restored countless times over the time we've been here, right?"

"I gotta say, though... I kinda like the design on this one... Back on track! Carn, Ingur, we need to get you two revived. How do we do that?"

"Ah, ok. Sooooo, what do we burn to get enough heat to melt the stuff? Napalm?"

I'm thinking I'm gonna try to make a rifle version of the Prometheus as an IRL prop.

(Gunhild) "That won't be necessary, I brought the powders."

(Carn) "Then load them in. Smelter is out back."

(Gunhild) Gunhild leaves to prep the smelter.

(Carn) "We have 3 minutes till its ready. Nestor, make sure the goats are calm, and that the bear skin is clean. And if you would dig out a half dozen silver ingots from my old room, they are under the bed. Specifically the ones with the dragon runes."

{[AI] Necromancer's Clockwork Apprentice Nestor}: *Pokes his head out of Carn's room.*

"Do you mean the ones with pictures of dragons or the ones with runic symbols translating to 'Dragon'?"

(Carn) "The ones that translate into 'Dragon'. The other ones have no power in them. They just look cool."

Jeez, I haven't posted in a long while!

Koali looked up from the physics textbook he was reading.

"Wow, did you know you can charge things by polarizing them with a charged object? You start by putting the objects in contact, then you..."

(Interrupt the ramble!)

"...Oh. Right, the resurrection. Nestor! The silver!"

{[AI] Unwound Nestor}: (Nothing)

"Nestor?"

{[AI] Unwound Nestor}: (Nothing)

"Right, I guess his springs got unwound while I was reading."

Koali went and got the goats, bear skin, and silver.

(They're actually not magnets, by the way. The process involves putting the charged objects in contact (let's go with steel balls), holding the charged rod near one of them (like a glass rod rubbed with felt), separate the steel balls, and then take away the charged rod. That way, one of the steel balls ends up with a positive charge, while the other ends up with a negative charge. Science!)
