(Carn) mentally "I thought you hired him?"
Coming up to the door, a guard is screening each guest.
(Guard) "Hold. Invitations please."
(Carn) "Certainly." fishes in his jacket for a few seconds, then proffers Carn and Ingur's invitation
(Guard) squints his eyes "Angleans?" moves his hand to his gun "Move along please."
(Carn) bristles up and takes on a tone he has used in the past to deal with recalcitrant privates, though at a much lower volume "Who do you think I am corporal?"
(Guard) "Some Anglean come here to cause trouble, that's what."
(Carn) "Oh really? Do you want to be the one to tell the barons that you turned aside the Anglean delegation? I can assure you, there are senators who would see this as a great affront. Call the embassy, they can verify who I am, and why I'm here."
(Guard) suspecting something, but not sure what he says "Stay here." then goes to the guard house and radios over "Two Angleans sir. Yes. Aye he's big. Very well, thank you." comes back over "My apologies Captain, I was unaware the Republic had sent delegates to help smooth relations."
(Carn) softening his tone, but still keeping authority in it "No harm done, I'm sure it was some fault in the paperwork."
(Guard) snorts "Its always the bleeding paperwork. Come on in, wait." sees Koali "What is that?"
(Ingur) "A automaton of my design. I brought it here to show the party-goers, its a very unique one."
(Guard) "Very well, just don't let it make a mess." waves Carn, Ingur, and Koali in

*Shaded steps up to the guard, holding out the finely guilded paper.*
"Here is my invitation. I believe everything is in order."
*The guard takes it, verifies it's authenticity, and nods, waving towards the entrance.*
"Please proceed, sir. I trust there won't be any trouble?"
*Shaded smirks and pats his arm.*
"Just because I am a Master Tinker does not mean I am above or unaware of court ettiquite. Trust me, corporal, there will be no trouble."
*Walks in and notices the looks from the rest of the group.*
"What? I can be polite when the situation calls for it."

you see somebody taking out some guards on a patrol ship stealthily.
its your colleague.you wave to him and he waves back.
"alright almost done here. we'll have no problem from patrol..."
