With a flip of the switch the rapier has two extra pronged blades

"And if I press this switch here...." You aim for the barell and flipped the switch.  The blade fly's out of the handle of the rapier with a rope and hits the barell.

"It I's now a grappling Hook." You retract the blade and it turns into a normal rapier.

Carn:
(Carn) "Nice, never cared for rapiers myself. Too light," unhooks Bloodsong from his belt "I prefer a tad more heft."

(Ingur) "Oh joy, he's going to show off again."

(Carn) ignoring Ingur Carn proceeds to do some practices, showing Spades that despite the size of the weapon, the alloy it is made from makes it lighter then one would think. Spinning it around rapidly in wide circles, in appearance it seems to be a flashing disk.

(Ingur) "Put the axe down already, sheesh. Why do guys always try to out macho each other?"

Koali:
"Just leave them to it, one of these days they'll hurt themselves and learn."

ShadedExalt:
"Meh.  I've already proved myself."
