I'm a potty mouth, but if need be I can reign it in. Hopefully that doesn't count.
Carn:
(Gunhild) "Honestly, he's a lot better with explosives and artillery pieces. We've had shooting contests before, but there's never been a clear victor."
(Carn) "And our melee styles are different as well. I'm a heavyweight fighter, she's a lightweight. I hit harder, and she hits faster. Besides, aren't two double barreled carbines a bit much? Though you also use them as clubs too."
(Gunhild) "This coming from the man permanently carrying a behemoth of a rifle and a boarding axe?"
(Carn) "In short, our shooting is about even, and our hand to hand styles are opposing. I'm better with artillery and explosives, which is why I gun on ships, and she's a better pilot and infiltrator. Anyways, this "promotion" stinks of politics."
(Gunhild) "That it does, you know a lot of info. This is a more pleasant way of dealing with a loose thread."

*Shaded thinks for a second before pulling out his revolver, removing the cylinder and holding the gun and cynlinder out for inspection.*
"And I have a behemoth of a pistol."
*Places them down on the table.*
"Long barrel, night sights, custom whalebone handgrip, .454 Casull rounds jacketed in tungsten..."
Carn:
(Gunhild) "Not bad, speaking of pistols." she motions to one of the engies "Bring in the other boxes." the engie nods and returns after a minute with two boxes handing them to Gunhild "Your an officer, so you need a pistol. Revolver with 10 rounds, 40 caliber rounds, single and double action. This one in particular is tailored for a leftie, as I know you shoot with your left." she puts it back in the box with its holster and hands it to Carn, then opens the second box "And now for the trips down memory lane." opening the box she reveals past medals "Your not required to wear them, but for special occasions or when you need to make a statement. Every one you earned, Ingur left them in my care while she came here."
(Carn) opening the box he looks for one in particular, pulling out a medal made of gilded steel wrought in the shape of a broken propeller "Remember this one?"
(Gunhild) "Oh please, you don't want to know how many recruits have tried to imitate the actions of Carn Cleardeck."
(Carn) "Seriously? I nearly died, and they're trying to imitate it?"
(Gunhild) "You have your own chunk in their guide now. You did a lot of stuff Gormson, you wouldn't believe what your old drill sergeants say when they brag about you."

Swearing on this thread while in character isn't going to get you in very much trouble, I'll just admonish you (while also in character). Now, don't swear too much, but if you must then use some sort of humorous censor.
"Major Gunhild, I'd like to apologize for my hostile attitude toward you. I had no idea what was going on. Now, does Carn get a cool hat?"
