Hence why I'm suggesting a hard lock.
Not a soft lock like novice matches. Hell hard lock novice mode. I have a feeling that hasn't been tested before.
Novices can't go into advanced if they literally cannot go into it. And if they piss each other off then those that make it out (and stick around), might learn a thing or two about LISTENING.

Except the problem is if you do this, then new players can't play with friends who are no longer novice, which is basically against everything Muse has said about wanting to game to be.
HamsterIV:
I imagine new players who turn off novice turn it back on after getting stomped by vets in a regular match. Nothing says "you really need to learn the game's systems" like loosing 5-0 without dinging your opponent's permahull. At least that is the message I hope they are getting.

already thought of that on the email.
advanced can join novice match but never as pilot.
plus advanced friends can invite novices over to advanced lobbies and crew forms. But only via invite (unless they graduate via lvling all 3 classes at a lower lvl to the current graduation lvl)
Imagine:
You're getting way too complicated with this. If you're having to set like 4 different condition types, it's not a good system.
Hoja Lateralus:
Poeple don't play novice games because there is no novice when lvl cap is 7 and you get 1000 points for completing tutorials and winning game. So without any achievements it can theoretically take person a 28 won matches. Without achievements, which some of them are impossible not to do. I've started a thread adressing this, what I like to call it, noob problem: https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,5713.0.html
Edit: If someone doesn't want to read more - one of the suggestion is to make 'every' player who played below 50 matches unable to join advanced games.
