Up until last february they could actually utilize it without getting killed, but it took 5 more levels

I agree. but when a teammate is clearly rushing to your rescue and you peace out leaving them for dead.
Thats not a time to retreat.
And IN THE FIRST PLACE. You shouldn't be flying intentionally into a 2 v 1 of which the teammate must rescue your dumbass.
and yes the free licence helicopter sound for every type of ship really bothers me.
